The Original Taproom
124 Argall Way
Nevada City, CA 95959
Ol’ Republic Brewery opened its taproom to the public in 2012 in the historic mining town of Nevada City, CA, made famous by the 1849 Gold Rush. Loved and frequented by families and their pets, the taproom has been coined the "The Pub" by some. We have a number of events during the year that include our customer appreciation anniversary party and car show, VDubFest, Bikes and Beer motorcycle show, as well as live music. In addition we host the annual Nevada City Film Festival's "Best of the Fest" closing night, Brave the Shave, various non-profit fundraisers, and an acoustic-only bluegrass jam on Wednesday evenings. The staff at Ol' Republic are all locals, and they all love to do their part for the community.
If you're looking for a venue to hold an anniversary, birthday or retirement party, the staff at Ol' Republic will make it as simple as it can be. There are two areas available – the Old Brewhouse and the Founder's Lounge.
Visitors are encouraged to bring their own picnic basket, or order food from a variety of menus provided by local restaurants offering take-out. Food vendors are on-site some nights of the week.
Well-behaved children are welcome in the taproom and dogs (on a leash...and also well behaved) are allowed on the non-smoking patio.
